Cruelty free hair care

Hi lovelies,

The cruelty free series on after my skin care routine where is my hair care routine. Previously I was not so conscious, so I had to change nearly my whole shelf. Firstly I will write about my basics and then the styling products which I used to use and currently use:

  • Shampoo: I was so heartbroken, when I have found the fact that Yves Rocher is not cruelty free anymore, so I just have bought this Neobio Sensitive shampoo, which I have tried only once so I hope it is going to be working for me. No silicone,no parabens,no perfume, vegan and gluten free- sound amazing:)
  • Conditioner: I was a really huge fan of Elseve (Elvive) by L’Oréal for ages. I have changed to a little indie product for 2 months and it is so good. This is a small German Brand, exclusive at DM: Langhaarmadchen: Intensive Repair, which is a products for long hair girls:). I think I will try their other products as well, because this conditioner makes my hair so smooth, shine and weightless.
  • Leave-in conditioner:Gliss Kur Total Repair Express conditioner was my cult fav for ages, I loved to use it on my towel dry hair, just to get some extra shine and repair, now I have changed Bleach London-  one. (I seems the same after 1 use).
  • Hair oil: That was a point, where I am using The Body Shop Argan Oil (beauty oil category as it is good for skin too) for 2 years now, which is a really rich oil. I have their jar package, now they have changed it into a spray oil version.

Styling:

  • Heat protector spray: I rarely use hair straightener or haircurler, but when am I, it is the Balea: Hitze Schutz Spray for ages, it is one of the cheapest in the market, but still so good.Balea-Haarprofis-Hitzeschutzspray-1000x600
  • Wave spray: salty water wave spray is my must have: I have used Tony&Guy and then L’Oréal Stylista, but now I have ordered Ouai Wave Spray to try a finally cruelty free one.
  • Dry shampoo: Yet I have used Aussie (travel size) really rare on bad hair days, but this is a product which I do not need so… I am looking for my future to be.
  • Hairspray: I used Taft, but Have not purchased a cruelty free alternative yet, as I am not really using these styling sprays…looking for your suggestions.

I did not write about hair mask, bacause I use a DIY: olive oil or egg-coconut-lemon combo- these are more natural and costsmuch less.

Which are your favourite hair care products? Let me to know done at the comments.

2018 April hauls

Hi lovelies,

We are having a coupon days here in Hungary, so I just would like to show you my purchases. Yes, I spent a lot, and I have not purchase a lot of things for months…warning before you start a crazy spending read my Clear out tips.

Beauty, health and skincare:

img_4302

Usually I am the person who buy economy packs on a lower price at drugstores like Nivea Micellar Wipes for travel, Tampa, Libresse, Always and Listerine will be enough for the next half-year. I wanted to try out Botanical conditioner, but bought two oldies, Fa have new smells, while Dove with cucumber was so fresh. I did buy some deodorants, toothpaste and shower gels to my husband.

img_4303

Honestly I wanted some Catrice products, but they were sold out on the very first day’s morning (wow How?) …. so I have repurchased two things, which are great but not cruelty free this Maybelline concealer and L’Oréal Lash Paradise (I know that Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara is a cruelty free alternative, but it is pretty hard to get in Hungary) both was on -50%. Real Techniques finally arrived to Müller, it is a bit more expensive than at iHerb, but still affordable, specially with 20 % off. Last thing was Chanel Powder, you might know that I have made a big clear out and nearly all of my powders were old and outdated, so I have purchased with giant in the promotion, I hope I will love it…

Cruelty free finally, I went i to The Body Shop to repurchase my favourite Vitamin E cream, they do have a new formula for normal/combination Skin so I am going to give a try. Of course I could not leave without the cult Shea Body butter, which is our other fav with my husband. Drops of Youth cream has a bigger packaging in a jar, as so many friends recommended and Vitamin E Eye cream was out of stock, I picked this one. Other free will be just samples, all of them are chosen by me, the serum was free, while two Masks for 300 HUF (1 EUR) due to the loyalty card. I did have 20% off by the coupon. Pupa (Italian make up and Skin care brand-might be cruelty free) launched their mask line, so this is a Bamboo Charcoal deep cleaning peel off mask and 2 packages of eye patches.

Let’s go back to training, so at Biotech USA: Hungarian and former American nutrition brand – I have bought some shakes from the women line, repurchased L-Carnitine, which I love to use before running, feels like to able to run more. And Spirulina food supplement: alga based bacteria, which helps to get a bit more well-balanced. Links:here

Clothes

I tried to follow my Spring wardrobe wishes and skip purchasing items, which are Already in my wardrobe. Most of the places Galmour coupons give 20 % off from new collections.

There are some gifts for my husband from his favourites: polo T-shirts fromHeavy Tools (shopshop), short from Springfield ( shop)and a Levi’s (shop)511 summer edition trousers. (All 20 % off)

Intimissimi is my number 1 underwear brand: sexy, quality lace and comfort. I wanted to have a flowered bra, actually not this, but is was much better and my hubby picked this body in their  catalogue – it was expensive but it is relatively rare that he point on something for me… so soft and comfy.

Calzedonia is the brand which i am only purchasing on sales, they are so expensive…IMG_4308

Mango‘s white blazer goes to my basics, really versatile for formal events with trousers, dresses. I really love in love with this soft knitted top’s browny-golden color. top blazer

Finally I have found my culottes: H&M white-blue stripped, fits really to my new white blazer and blocked hills.

Lastly, Promod was not on the promotion of the magazine, but they did have a promotion for “Ma Carte” holders on 2 items. Honestly I wanted to buy one of their flower dress, but it was not worked on me, so I choose these two: raspberry and green color dresses. Buying a good dress was pretty hard this season as most of them are super mini or under the knee length dresses in the stores, neither of them ideal for my lifestyle on bike. green   silky

I hope you have enjoyed my haul. More hauls from me: The bronzer issue with some haulWhat we bought in Thailand , Asos haul and Anastasia Beverly Hills Haul.

Do not forget to wash your clothes before you first wear them !

Empties and clearing out

Hi everyone!

So Glamour days are just on the corner, as I do not want to over purchase I love to have a look what I have in my wardrobe, makeup kit or in beauty. And of course throw away the empties, old makeups and creams, sell or give away to a charity (clothes).

Shopping on sales

Glamour days is a shopping weekend in Hungary, organized by Glamour magazine, where you can buy a lots of stuffs with discounting coupon, of course there is a lot of shopping malls do have some coupons of 20%, but at drugstore you usually have 50% sales on items with the magazines, and there are some products , which I only buy on these days in every half-year. I think this time I should figure out a budget to avoid impulse shopping.

Here is my clear out:

MAKE-UP I HATE

  • Maybelline: Master Strobing Liquid– honestly I do not like this product, even I used only a tiny bit, I am going to sell it
  • Bobbi Brown: Instant Full Cover Concealer- this is an expensive product, which I have used only 3-4 times, but I can not stand it under my eyes, too thick and the color which the artist gave me (SAND) really does not match. Try to sell

Make-up empties:

  • Bobbi Brown: BB Cream (Fair) loved it so much now I will replace my other fav BB: Clinique age defense BB in shade 2
  • Clarins: Eclat minute (07) I have already repurchased
  • Laura Mercier Foundation Primer-Oil Free: really love that primer, that works perfectly with Estee Lauder Double Wear, but I do not know where to repurchase it-so what shall I buy instead?
  • MAC: Prep-Prime Translucent Powder:really nice white powder, but nearly empty might will purchase an other brand’s translucent powder.

Skin care empties:

  • The Body Shop: Vitamine E sorbet: really love that lightweight cream, I think I will repurchase it. This is my go to daily cream, make up is so well to apply on it
  • The Body Shop: Tea Tree Night Mask: Tati hates it,  do love it, the skin feels so smooth and clean after the night, I tend to use only a little bit of it for my blemishes
  • L’Oreal: Pure Clay: Glow Mask: it is not a bad clay mask, but I think I will look for something else, which is a bit more deep cleaner clay mask.
  • Yves Rocher: Serum Végétale (I think it was) Eye cream it is a big no…

Oldies:

  • Clinique: Stay matt powder: I loved that powder, but I use it for 3-4 years and it is nearly empty, so I think I have to replace it- might will be an other one just I have to make a search on it.
  • Essence: All about Matt!: is a really good fixing powder from the drugstore, lasts ca. 3-4 hours,so I do not really like that I have to powder my T zone again and again during the day. I understand the hype it is probably the best in value and price but I tend to send more for a better one. I do not like its packing….
  • Beyu: Brow Powder: honestly I really love that powder, so much products, but I have it for 4 or 5 years so too old to use, unfortunately I have not seen this brand anymore at Douglas (it was ca. 17-18 SD).
  • L’Oréal: Color Infaillible: Pressed pigments in Sahara shade, probably the best and long lasting pigment in golden shade, it has a lot of product and after a 8-9 years of use I stll have the third of it. L’Oréal why discontinue this?
  • Bobbi Brown: Pot Rouge: Pale Pink is my go to cream blush, it is nearly empty, I have purchased like 2 years ago, but the product itself is 7 years old according to this production code… I think I have to repurchase it.
  • Too Faced: Better Than Sex– Waterproof travel size just forgotten of the photo of empties… also a really cool mascara which I love- same goes to MAC powder.
  • L’Oréal: Color Riche– J.Lo’s Nude is empty I loved it, but I have MAC Angel now, which is really similar to that.

CLOTHES

I always  clear out my wardrobe at season changing, but this year March was a way too chilly so… I will not describe what I will thought away items by items.

  • Oldies, which I have not used for a year
  • Never used/Used once
  • Occasion dresses
  • Torn, starched or items which need to repair

SHOPPING

This year I want to be more planned, so I have just cut the coupons, figured out my budget to avoid impulse shopping, checked the brand websites according to my Spring wardrobe wishes  and I might will shopping more online.

Stay turned for my haul!

The bronzer issue with some haul

Hi everyone!

This post will be a mixture of my hauls and my makeup kit and it is going to be also a first impression.

Below you can see my recent purchases:

Spring wardrobe wishes was included my white mulberry silk top, which was a bit expensive, but really looking forward to wear it even it is a bit see-thought, but excellent with a nude bra. My other blush sneaker purchase was a bit more tricky, I went to Massimo Dutti to purchase the top and this shoe together, my shoe size is EUR 37.5 and usually half size is not available, they only had EUR 38 which was a way more big, so after a lot of calls by the shop assistant to other stores she helped me to order it online. I went home to check my confirmation and did not come, but I saw on their  site this shoe went to sale 14995 HUF (ca 50 EUR) while I have purchased it for 22995 HUF (ca. 80 EUR) I was so depressed… Slept badly and checked their website in the middle of the night and thankfully the sales only for size EUR 35 and all the other are out of stocks and I got the confirmation about the delivery for the next day. Size EUR 37 is just perfect:).

Recent my beauty purchases:

  • repurchases: MAC-Ruby Woo(missing from photo),MAC- Brush Cleanser and Clarins- Eclat Minute (07)
  • newies: L’Oréal- Paradise Extatic and Physicians Formula- Butter Bronzer

Impressions: L’Oréal- Paradise Extatic has already reviewed by much of you. Even it is existing for a half-year here I have not been too fascinating to run for it, so my Bobbi Brown’s Smokey Eye Mascara was empty, so I bought this cheaper one, as a lot of people said it is like Too Faced: Better Than Sex Mascara which I love but I can not buy it in Hungary. Honestly I hate that in our drugstores most of the makeups are just on the shelf without any cover and that is why some people open and use the products, not the testers… This babe was in a paper too:) and I love it a lot, even thought I think Too Faced still much better, but it is a really good alternative to BB Smokey Eye for the half price. In generally I love L’Oréal mascaras, but this is even over the top of them. Price: 3999 HUF (ca. 13 EUR)

Before my Bronzers, here is my  My Brush kit , My parfume collection and My lipsticks

Physicians Formula- Butter Bronzer: I would purchase it since it was come to Hungary this year January, but it was always out of stock at DM. Yesterday, I was just to buy some handcream, Carmex and Toothbrush to my husband, when I saw PF’s display was fulfilled. The price tag: 5499 HUF(ca. 18 EUR) bit more expensive than the other drugstore makeup and there was 2 shades Light Bronzer and Bronzer- on the tester both looked nearly the same, so I have picked up Bronzer. Packing: in a way really nice: good colors and Hawaii feeling, mirror, but there is a useless sponge/applicator and the mirror is in the back , why not is the same place as the products? The pan is big enough, color is beautiful almost full matt, but I was expecting to have this more creamy, but after using it with my brush it is quiet powdery and the coconut smell is just too much for me…

Compare it to my two other bronzer:

  • Pupa Sun Bronzer and Shine: Pupa’s packaging is much better, even I do not like to have the highlighter and bronzer in the same pan, so I can only use it during the summer, when I prefer to shiny bronzer or separately to my eyes. PS’s color is not as yellow as Pupa’s, which is better. Pupa has a bit less smell. Price range is the same.
  • Bobbi Brown Bonzing Powder- Stonestreet: it is more expensive, nearly the double but it is highly bet the PF is pigmentation, color, packaging, formula and no smell:).
