My easy skin care routine

Hi lovelies,

This is the 2020 update of my skincare routine. It is easy, sustainable and relatively cheap. Yeah I have skipped using retionol and strong BHA acids due to some plans this year. And of course you can consider this post as an other inventory list as my makeup was.

Here is what I am using for my combination skin in 2020:

In the morning:

I always start with a glass of water, then getting into the bathroom washing my face with cold water cleansing while using a washclothes and cotton pads depending on the products(always use two types). Then toning and moisturizing my face to be ready for makeup.

Lush 7 to 3 cleansing pad

Micellar water– currently- Lumene one

Toner: Pixi Glow

Moisturizer: Polfa-Tarchomin (Polish Pharma brand) Hyaluron Regenal cream is a more thicker cream than the E.l.f. Daily Hydration Moisturizer, which I was used to use during the year, but I need a bit more now in the Winter

Eye cream: Farmacy – Dew It all (used the Naturschön Augencream, but I think they do changed something, which really iritates me, so just replaced it)

635541AB-F0E6-4D00-9B7A-33CDAC4300D5

Night or afternoon routine:

So I work in the morning I do remove my makeup upon arrival to home and use double cleansing + moisturizer, the same as in the morning.

If I am working until late night these two rituals links together: triple cleansing, then using serums, sometimes my face roller tooand oil if I have breakouts. A few minutes later I do apply my night cream and the Carmex in the bedroom.

The Body Shop: Camomile Cleansing Butter

Lush 7 to 3 cleanser

Micellar water

The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% +B5

The Ordinary Niaciamide 10% + Zinc 1%

If needed: The Body Shop Tree Oil

Night cream: Helia D- Botanic Concept Moisturising Night Cream with Tokaji Wine Extract

Extras:

Which I try to use weekly:

Lush lip scrub in Bubblegum

Hello JO – Bright Eye Jelly Masks

The Body Shop – Japanese Matcha Tea Pollution Clearing Mask

Sheet Mask, Suncreams and a Body Butter (should use more often).

Of course I do have some back ups and samples in my skincare inventory: to use up these will be important during my low buy year

“How many money?” -2

Hi lovelies,

After the post yesterday, let’s continue counting with my beauty haJune vanity updateuls:

HAIR:

I do not have the most expensive purchases on a photo, but deffinetely the Olaplex and The Ordinary Argan Oil, used up 3 conditioners and ca. 4 sampoo with my hubby, so I can just estimate: 20 000 HUF (ca. 63 EUR)

That is why there is no point to count the body products…

FACE Care:

Again not all of them are on the pictures, but I do have a total: 42 224 HUF (ca. 130 EUR)

Make up:

maybe my most documented acts, so I can also mention who much I used up in a year and also, which I did not workedfor me:

Okay, the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow and the NYX Palette was gifted only. Total: 69 572 HUF (ca. 220 EUR) out of 10 000 HUF (ca. 32 EUR) used up, while 5,7 EUR was not for me at all (waste).

I hope you had enjoyed. How much you have spent this year? How much money you have wasted?

Xoxo,

November haul

Hi lovelies,

So it is the next haul which I have promised in October. November is always a month to declutter for me, so let’s begin with it: I have take a hole sac of holey, hardly worn clothes to H&M this month too in their recyle system, it is ca. 15 items. Also took some underwear to Intimissimi recycling program.

I have wrote about the Lush stuffs in my previous post: 7 to 3 face cleaners, the naked argan sampoo and shower and bathing things.

I have found a COS Cashmere knit in a camel color in the beginning of the month at Dorothy & Aby outlet (they do sell the previous years’ fashion collected from Budapest’s stores) for half price.

During the coupon days I did some general shopping at the drogstores again and yes no make up bought, I am so proud just these:

So at H&M I have bought this beautiful brown dotted dress, it is reminds me the 1990s so much and of course a the velvet hair brand, which reminds me to my childhood, so lovely. Unfortunately, their premium collection is not available in stores, so will keep more online shopping.

hmgoepprod

From Zara a classic brown trouser:

I have a smaller accident when I have distroyed my jeans so I have to purchase a new Mile High Skinny in the demin blue shade.

1890521_19035817_1782605

I have bought a gift for my husband, but let’s keep it in secret:). Christmas is coming…

At The Body Shop I have repurchased my beloved melting balm, the tree tea oil and as I finished my UD setting spray I have choose their ones. And yes, I have not bought any make up beside than this.

Xoxo,

August haul

Hi lovelies,

This is again a monthly hauls like usually, but August is my Birthday so most of the things will be gifted for me and also I try to be using less, so for myself I only bought things which I need.

Lets start with my husband’s gift: is a handmade leather bag, which is so georgous in this light cream shade and I prefer to have a crossbody strappy which this bag has. It is not so huge, but big enough for my iPad mini or to keep my takeaway bottle in it.

img_6194.jpg

From my parents I received a few products which I was really into. Okay to begin the story with: they were asking what I wish, want I want for my Birthday and I was saying oh nothing, I have everything ect. Then my sister give my Feelunique login to them because she knows that I have a wishlist on it and they ordered a Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow, an Urban Decay Primer Portion and my fav mascara the Perversion. The pack in not arrived yet, but it is due today to my work place.

I got the NYX Ultimate palette from my bff. Honestly I have never ever thought buying this, but I have thinking to buy a Pupa blue single shadow or a ABH- Riviera Palette, but now everything in it and evenmore colors, which I can use with my natural ones…

From my sister I’ve got The Body Shop Japanese Matcha Tea food mask, which I tried once in the single use version and it was even better than the Himalyan one. From my brother and his girlfriend a vegan sampoo – conditioner and a cute hair ring (yellow on the picture).

img_6192.jpg

And yes the things that I bought: this cute, cheap necklance from H&M I think it will be super cute for the beach, The Body Shop Camomille Butter I have repurchased and Coconut mist was a just for fun thing. Lush 7 to 3 cleansing pad and the sunblocker for our upcoming holiday.

Happy Birthday to Hungary too!

Skincare:

Lixirskin: Electrogel Cleanser and Universal Emulsion cream (1-2.)- these products are not overthought, very basics and works with a relatively good INCI…

Pixi: Glow Tonic – I have already written about it this is just changed my skin in a good way. (3.)

Nature Box: Shower Gel coconut oil (4.)- It is a vegan shower gel, with an incredible sent… I still do not know if they are CF- probably will repurchase it more and more time (after I used up my Dove-s, which I got for Christmas)

Haircare:

Ouai-Wave spray(5): finally a save spray which not try my hair…

The Body Shop: Wild Argan Oil(6)- it is the best oil I have ever used for my hair. + my hubby love it for his beard

Make up :

Physicians Formula: Butter Bronzer- I had it at the end of 2017, but Since that it is my total favourite(7).

Nars: Orgasm blush(8)- the blush which Inhave used the most, just bought write before they sadly Landed in China, so I have nearly hit the pan…it will be so hard to replace

Too Faced: Better than Sex (9): it was in my 2017 fav too, but it is the number one mascara for me, even wear it without any other make up to often.

Bobbi Brown: Long-Wear Brow Pencil (10) in Blonde, it is not CF I know, but it is perfect, so will be replace soon as it is not having so much in, formula and size is much better than the pomade…

Ultimate skin care update

Hi lovelies,

I just want to share my skincare routine update with you. I did some reseaches and read, test a lot ect. because skincare is more important than make up and it is time to start invest. in it.

I just have find this small skin care menu list at Byrdie‘s, which is quite good base to create the ultimate skin care routine. All of the products that I mention will be cruelty free as my previous one was included Bioderma which is not. I have read the suggestions of cultbeauty and skinsmart representatives too. There will be products, which I use for a long time, other are just new.

My Skin tend to be combination, but also sensitive and sometimes really dry. Yes, it will seems that I do use a lot of products, so not all of them are in my everyday routine.

Cleansing gel: Lixir- Electrogel Cleanser: honestly I only use cleansing gel in the evenings, I do not have time in the morning for these, so the electrogel is just for me, really smooth and smells nice and it is also a detoxifying mask. For morning fresh up and makeup removing I also use Micellar water, I loved the Bioderma pink one for so long, but then for CF reasons,I have started to use The Body Shop Camomile Fresh -Micellar Cleansing Water.

Toner: Pixi- Glow Tonic: I used to use a toner back to my teenager years, I was too lazy for ages maybe, for a month now just using the Glow Tonic, which has changed my skin so well- bright and glowing.

Lightweight moisturizer: Lixir- Universal Emulsion or The Body Shop- Vitamin E. The last one I just adore for so long time so lightweight and water based which I love, but too many perfume (even no irritation), but during winter time I feel I need some more, so just trying the first one, which works well so far.

Eye cream: I have not find my love yet, but I do have a lots of okay in this category… Currently using: Naturschön: Augencreme, which is a vegan, olive based cream. Really need to find on which is not is a jar, might be the Drunk Elephant? What do you think?

Zinc oxide sunscreen: honestly I am only using SPF in the BB cream, yes I have to find something…

AHA/BHA serum: Geek&Gorgeous Calm Down(PHA+ BHA liquid) is my big love, so I tend to repurchase it, but now I will give a try to my gifted Lixir: Night Switch PHA/AHA 10%

Retinol serum: The Ordinary: Granactive Retionoid 2% emulsion my first ever retinol, I am just thinking of starting it in my 20s must not hurt, so I will not use this light version everyday until my 30s… (2 nights per week)

uj_advanced

Serum: The Ordinary: Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% really good serum for oily- oily combined skin, even it is written use it both in morning and evening, I only use it at night if I skipp the retinol.

zb_p

Clay mask: The Body Shop- Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask is my other old friend, even thought I use rarely use it… and sometimes I do use sheet mask, like the Holika Holika: Juicy Mask Sheet for some extra hydration.

tbshimalaya

Face oil: I am not really into it, as I was always afraid of these products makes my skin oily, so I only have a small The Body Shop: Tea Tree Oil and a L’Occitane: Face Comforting Oil (Not CF so I will need a change), might be for a nice night oil.

I hope you have enjoyed this short post. I am highly interested in you advise, so please comment below.

Xoxo,

October mini haul

Hi lovelies,

This is a mini haul of the end of October, yes I already had Glamour days haul  and these were mainly ordered by that time, just the only arrived now.

Firstly, Tarte had their 18th Birthday and had some offer like free shipping without limitation on one day so I have ordered their Shape Tape Concealer in the shade Light Natural and I was so lucky winning their Birthday set, which was coming with my order (even thought they have written ca. 3 days later).

Birthday set came in a sequined cluth and the inside:

  • Tartelette Flirt palette: cardboard palette with 6 mini shades, perfect for travel :4 of those are matte and 2 shimmery, color touch is just the dupe of MAC Expensive pink
  • Lifted Mascara: Brown sporty line waterproof ( I just think so mascara),
  • Lip sculptor: intoxicating limited edition shade with lipstick and lip gloss on the other side,
  • Tartist: Totes lipliner- hot pink color liner.

The Body Shop: I have repurchased my favourite clay mask: Himalayan Charcoal (update soon regarding my skincare) and they have launched a Micellar water in their Camomile line, so badly want to try.

Bonami has written after a week of Glamour that they can not sent the velvet puff, which I have ordered and paid, so they will send me back my money… pff ever the worst costumer service communication which I have heard, no excuse or sorry they are advertising something that they can not send to the costumers and they do not write one day after your purchase (AKA I have lost the opportunity to order with 20% off from somewhere else) and they do not offer any compensation, when I have written back and what would be my compensation, they wrote back 2 000 HUF (cupon) -which is less than 10% of my order- ca. 8 USD- are you kidding? How you have ever considered that I will order from you anything else? They should come to a Hotel cross training of handling complaints. NEVER EVER AGAIN… On Saturday they have send an email, it is on it way, how comes? So the whole we can not fullfill your request was just a lie. Monday the Courier company started to deliver it, of course they called me when I was busy at work, tried to call them back 20 minutes later(and 5 times more) and just have tracked on their site that they took it back to the sender… WHY? How I can call them back if they do not pick up the phone at all? They should try 3 times to deliver before send it back, what did I do wrong OMG? So for 2 days now, I am just calling the customer service and try to get my baby back… so horrible.

Cruelty free hair care

Hi lovelies,

The cruelty free series on after my skin care routine where is my hair care routine. Previously I was not so conscious, so I had to change nearly my whole shelf. Firstly I will write about my basics and then the styling products which I used to use and currently use:

  • Shampoo: I was so heartbroken, when I have found the fact that Yves Rocher is not cruelty free anymore, so I just have bought this Neobio Sensitive shampoo, which I have tried only once so I hope it is going to be working for me. No silicone,no parabens,no perfume, vegan and gluten free- sound amazing:)
  • Conditioner: I was a really huge fan of Elseve (Elvive) by L’Oréal for ages. I have changed to a little indie product for 2 months and it is so good. This is a small German Brand, exclusive at DM: Langhaarmadchen: Intensive Repair, which is a products for long hair girls:). I think I will try their other products as well, because this conditioner makes my hair so smooth, shine and weightless.
  • Leave-in conditioner:Gliss Kur Total Repair Express conditioner was my cult fav for ages, I loved to use it on my towel dry hair, just to get some extra shine and repair, now I have changed Bleach London-  one. (I seems the same after 1 use).
  • Hair oil: That was a point, where I am using The Body Shop Argan Oil (beauty oil category as it is good for skin too) for 2 years now, which is a really rich oil. I have their jar package, now they have changed it into a spray oil version.

Styling:

  • Heat protector spray: I rarely use hair straightener or haircurler, but when am I, it is the Balea: Hitze Schutz Spray for ages, it is one of the cheapest in the market, but still so good.Balea-Haarprofis-Hitzeschutzspray-1000x600
  • Wave spray: salty water wave spray is my must have: I have used Tony&Guy and then L’Oréal Stylista, but now I have ordered Ouai Wave Spray to try a finally cruelty free one.
  • Dry shampoo: Yet I have used Aussie (travel size) really rare on bad hair days, but this is a product which I do not need so… I am looking for my future to be.
  • Hairspray: I used Taft, but Have not purchased a cruelty free alternative yet, as I am not really using these styling sprays…looking for your suggestions.

I did not write about hair mask, bacause I use a DIY: olive oil or egg-coconut-lemon combo- these are more natural and costsmuch less.

Which are your favourite hair care products? Let me to know done at the comments.

July hauls

Hi lovelies,

I have not written for a long time due to our future flat, read the story My announcement and keep waiting for my updates soon.

So July passed by a lots of work and only 4 days of from the reality of Budapest. I have already posted about my bikinis so read it Here.

Beside my bikini purchase I have been at The Body Shop to purchase some gifts for my sister and bbf’s- I have forgotten to take the pictures on these, for myself I have finally bought the Body Yoghurt, for a lighter summer version instead of the Body Butter. I have chosen the one with Almond Milk, as Generally hating the Body lotions with so strong perfume (smell). I tend to say love it: cooling, lightweight, so might will purchase the British Rose one as well. I just took two mini mask, but only tried the honey mask after the neem mask, to minimize the dry out of the dry parts of my face. It is not bad, but not the one which I would purchase in the full version, which is really pricy.

All the other are from Mueller, which a drogerie and perfumery in Hungary. It is a really huge store from cheap to high-end cosmetics. I rarely go there as they are a big expensive, and too many people have the access to the more expensive products, which they often open and use instead of the testers…. but it is the place for Real Techniques. They did not have the sponge and the brush, but the brush cleaner yes. Here is it more expensive than MAC ahh… more like a liquid soap type, so might need a bit less, cleans effectively, but come on it is RT only.

And guess what Shiseido was on 50% sale, so that was the deal to must not skip ;). unthought it was really hard to find something due to the above mentioned problem. So I have purchased the Perfect Foundation Brush: love its size and the small kabuki shape so easy to apply all type of foundations. Full Lash Mascara in brown- I always have a brown mascara for natural makeup days. It is not a bad mascara, but differently do not worst the price, on this L’Oréal price tag is was ok to buy. Biobonza was a sample;).

What were your July purchases?

Xoxo,

P.S.: Hungarians are adore the creamy cold fruit soups, which you can do easily: cook the fruits (apricot, plum, peach or mixed) a bit with cinnamon and clove then take it to a turmix with vanillin aroma or sugar, but back to the hot plate and mix it with some milk (I always use almond/soy or rice) and leave it is the fridge. For strawberry use mint only at the first step. Instead of milk you can serve it with ice cream.

My plum soup:
