Outwear collection 2020

Hi lovelies,

As for the Low Buy Year I do think we should first check what we own and consider to relove them and only afterwards to purchase something used or new. So this is another inventory again: all of my coats and jackets- yeah I do not consider blazers here, as they are multitasking things… I am also going to exclude my two ski jackets as they are at my parent’s house. I think I am pretty good at basics and it is probably a list of all the outwears that everyone should own, if you live in a four seasons country. Most of them are sites in my wardrobe for ages, and they are affordable, which I might going to spice up a bit, but I do not think I would need more…

Let’s start from the warmest to the lightest:

  1. Puff Navy Blue Winter coat by Zara: I think I have bought it like 5-6 years ago, when they first came out with this style, which is in between the jackets and the regular knee length coats. It is perfectly covers hips, which I tend to be cold during winter.
  2. Wool Camel Coat by Promod: probably the most expensive Promod item I have ever seen, but for sure the one, which I have every purchased from them 3-4 years ago. It is difinitely looks much more expensive than it was (ca. 145 EUR). Straight cut with one bottom on the front, elegant and statement winter piece.
  3. Wool blend checked jacket by Orsay: I think it is over 10 years old and because of the wool it is much more durable than my sister’s same time purchased one. It is with a belt, now I rarely wear, but I think I should keep it and of course both Camel and this I should take to the dry cleaning, which is not that easy now…
  4. Leather jacket by Mango: it is my newest one, might remember it was in a haul a few months ago. It is timeless bicker leather jacket, which I love to wear with casual outfits or over a nice girly dress…
  5. Trench coat by Promod: I have it since my last was stolen in 2010 and might be it would be nice to have a bit more expensive one or maybe an other navy blue one, but just like this colour so much.
  6. Runner jacket by Oysho: mostly use it for sports, but sometimes as a bomber jackets too, ca. 2 years old.
  7. Jeans jacket: brand is called Big Fire or something and it is a truly old piece, most probably the oldest in my wardrobe, I was 13 or 14 when I have thrift it in a second-hand, since that I have worn it every Summer and in sunny weather over my dresses and I hope to keep it for so long, because it is the perfect jeans jacket in mid-wash blue and as it is getting worn just looking better and better…

Which outwear I should buy soon? Is there anything missing?

Xoxo,

“How many money?”

Hi lovelies,

I hope you had a great Christmas so far and enjoyed my wishlist and hauls in this holiday season. At the end of the year is the time to summary, to account the year and as well as our spendings as well. In the beginning of the year I started an intensive Cruelty Free journey and used up as many products as I could, while during the year I was started to think more sustainable about my spending… Now let’s count my shopping, estimate the spendings and do the “people’s judgement”- in the comment section- try to come along witha conclusion.

Accessories:

Might be the easiest category first- as for myself I onlybought a necklace, a headband, a hair band, rubber and a bobby-pin:

I admit that these things are ones which I can live without, but I love the cashmere headband it is so useful for ear protection and the pins just pop up my look sometimes. The necklace and the rubber was okay for holiday.

All from H&M– 5 pieces- spending: 11 472 HUF (ca. 36 EUR)

Gifts was:

Shoes:

It is so unbelievable I have purchased only one shoe, which was a summer sandal (leather) on sale:

Brand: Gino Rossi– 1 item- spending: 8 850 HUF (ca. 28 EUR)

Clothes

OMG, it is even hard to collect:

I think I had one more Yellow summer dress, which is not on the montage. Eventually I have 2 (leopard shirt and the black flower patern dress, which are not in my wardrobe anymore and the black dotted dress I have not even wore yet, while the brown dotted only one.

Brands: H&M, Zara, Mango, Promod, Oysho, Levi’s, COS– 21 items-  168 642 HUF (ca.527 EUR) ca. 40 EUR spent on useless clothes, which is in a way much, but on the otherhand not that much because it is under my 5% of income, however I am still wants to decease the numbers in the future and buy more quality items next year- at least one from a local designer.

Let’s continue tomorrow with make up and skin care…

Xoxo,

Summer clothes update

Hi lovelies,

I have not written for a while as I mentioned the lastly why… Now it is time to show my recent updates on my closet.

Firstly I have made a bigger decluttering regarding my clothes, shoes- I would say Summer Declutter vol. 1. as I think I have to check it again in August. So have ordered a remixshop bag, to check if I can sell the items, which are unused or barely used – I am fed up with Facebook Market function as it is so hard to get a reliable buyer and takes so long- so the opportunity costs do not pay off if you know what I mean ;). So into the bag I added totally of 10 clothes and a pair of shoes. And also I took 2 big box of clothes to the charity shop, these are the middle condition clothes and one smaller to H&M recycle campaign, I know it is Fast Fashion but, it is better to take the ripped or torned textiles to return them.

So the list will be a bit long, but it was my purchases of June and July, yes I can not afford designer clothes so, it is Fast Fashion…

Shoe: leather sandal by Gino Rossi (Italian brand) ordered it for ca. 28-30 EUR with a -65% discount after a long hunting and that is what I was exactly wanted: beige or brown flat sandal with ankle strappy- I have sent much less than I was expect to be:).ginorossidn694mtwobgbg2512x_gino_rossi-dn694m-two-bgbg-2512-x_ab_0003

H&M

I have placed an order due to the sale at H&M online- I know it is so bad, but things happens- of 5 pieces, but sent back 2 of them due to size (ordered 36 and sent out of a 42) or bad quality. I am keeping these 3:

All of them were 6- 9 EUR, which is pretty good value.

Zara

They are so quick and upto date, so that is why a lot of people love them, but honestly they are a bit pricy compare to the quality… but yes the design… so they do have 2 annual sales, the first prices are usually not so much of discount, 2nd and 3rd are pretty great. I went in to the store by the second and was so suprised nearly nothing left- a lot of crazy tourist bought them all :). So I only find the floating yellow/orange dress for ca. 15-16 EUR (have not find on site, so try to took a picture) and some new collection:

Sorry they do have so ugly models on site so…. It is a black cotton top with a tie (ca. 23 EUR) and the jumpsuit (ca. 45 EUR) – OMG I had to go back 2 times to change: first due to the cassier girl pulled out a thread while she was removing the security thing and next was like a badly tailored one…

Oysho:

I wanted a linen short so bad, so as H&M failed I finally found: so classic (ca. 20 EUR)

I was a good girl to purchase two bermudas to my hubby:).

Yes there were no beauty haul , but I hope you have enjoyed!
