Black friday while your low buy year

Hi lovelies,

I was started to write that post right before Black Friday. Some people love it, others just have it and defining it as an evil enemy or the symbole of overconsumption. Let me tell you something intention shopping is really depends on you. Do the same as you would do on other days: plan- wait- think- act. Try to find the deal. If you are eyeing on something like I do with my wishlist, you will be able to decide the best deal.

If you have a list of your planned Christmas gifts, than it is a great time to go shopping… or just simply do some online one. By prioritazing your relatives you will not end up with a lot of clutter. You might have saved up for something that is the time to buy it.

What am I going to do?

I did 100 items decluttering November challenge, so I know what I have, checked my wishlist and decided that I will have to choose only one item for myself and further more this item will be one of my Christmas present. I am considering to buy a bag from Furla or Coccinelle, jeans, Veja sneakers or the Sezane pulover, depends on the deal. I will have to purchase my skincare items from La Roche Posay and my Pixi Glow Tonic. The rest will be gifts like persolized calendar from Cewe.

And guess what happend? I only purchased the 4 annual Cewe calendar, which we do every year. I was so overhelm by this whole on sale thing as most of the items I was looking for neither was on sale nor was in stock. So I decided to give up searching… I have to admit I was working and my mood recently is not about getting into crowded shopping malls at all. In the whole month I have purchased a book and repurchased my beloved skincare line from La Roche Posay.

So you might recognized that these are said to be not cruelty free products. Firstly they do their job much better than the alternatives which I have found. Secondly, there are clean products, so they will not irritate my skin. Finally, they are made in Europe, so even if they test in China these are coming from their French factories.

In November and December I was quite busy with some of my health issue, so I kept myself away from writting and posting. I have to admit on the top of the pandemic I am having an emotionally heavy period of my life, which I am not ready to post about now.

9 brands which are shockingly non cruelty free

My cruelty free series are on today, with this quick 10 brands, which are not cruelty free, but I thought they are so it is might be a bit shocking not just for me but also for you. I am not going to talk about MAC or NARS (which used to be cruelty free), neither the most common drugstore brands, like L’Oréal – Bourjois- Rimmel or high-end brands, like Bobbi Brown, Estée Lauder or Dior ect. which are all sell in China.

Here is the list:

Yves Rocher: I am might be too naive, but I was on the way of thinking as they do not test on animals because they are natural, parabens free ect. but I just come to realization they do as selling in China. Alternative brand: The Body Shop or Lush.
Shiseido:I was might a bit mixing as a Korean Brand, but Japanese Shiseido do test on animals because of their Chinese market.
Bioderma: French pharmacies brand’s Chinese website is not so hard to find… so question: what will be their Sensibio H2O alternative?
Claudalie: Since I trying to go cruelty free, I am really on a searching side… I wanted to try their Mist as an alternative of MAC, but I have found no no.
Glamglow: I was so waiting their new products to launch in Hungary, until my friend came home from China with a Glamglow mask…
Khiel’s: it is the American pharmacies company, with Chinese retail … opss
L’Occatine: the first sight was sawing their product at duty free stores, then researched and boom… it is the same as Yves Rocher- natural but sell in China
Vichy: some as NUXE, La Roche-Posay or Bioderma:

The only possible exception is if regulatory authorities required it for safety or regulatory purposes.
Artdeco: German high-end brand also sells at China, even in Europe they most not test. Brand instead: Zoeva or Misslyn

In generally I can admit, even if they are natural based or pharmacies safe brands they do test on animals if it is required by the law, which is true for the Chinese market, which offers more profit than to be ethnical for most of them. As well as I would be grateful if Chinese Government would change that law.

Best of Pharmacy

Today’s post will concern the skin care from the pharmacy. some of the products will be in my stock at home, but most of them mine seasonal favourites. Here, in Hungary most of the pharmacy have their own handmade creams, which are really cheap, hypoallergenic and good. I tend to buy their no brand lip balm and body lotion, but now let’s turn to international brands (French), which you can buy there.

Bioderma- Sensibio Micellaire water: my absolute favourite make up remover, use it twice a day and have chosen for sensitive skin, due to my eyes can not stand any other micellaire water like L’Oréal or Garnier.

Bioderma-Sebium: Purifying cleansing foaming gel: I have a combination/sensitive skin, and this foam is so good for my oily T zone, but do not dries my cheeks, it is cleans gently. Use t twice a day before micellar water.

Uriage: Eau Thermale: this is a thermal water face spray I like to use it before applying make up primer or during the day to refresh my skin – especially summer – time on the top of make up or just for my skin. Now I have the Evian one, but these two are the same, always choose the best deal or where I am shopping. It is really good for my sensitive skin, sometimes redness appears I use it to calm down.
