Creating my ultimate wardobe: The very basics

This is a newest update on my “Creating my ultimate wardrobe” series. Lastly you were able to read my underwear issue, now lets move one and get into the closet.

Maybe it is the most boring story, so many people write about what are the basic of the basics, the ultimate foundation of their wardrobe, which they can wear all year arround.

I wanted to be more honest and specific: I do not include any seasonal items like a roll neck top or demin short, neither accessories- these are very personal of course the later on I will share a key piecs list – nor outwears – these are ready climate dependent items, really depends on were you live in the Earth.

My favourites will be shared in the links- not affiliate

Sleeveless tops: summer they can be a top, in the other seasons a layer. I do prefer black and white silk camisoles and nude cotton body.

Tees: can be plain or with any graphic on it, but I think you can make out the most from the plain ones: Black V-neck and white crew neck.

Long sleeve: can be worn as a pulover during summer nights or a layer under a pulover in the winter months. I do love that breton.

Shirts: you need a white botton-up from cotton and an other one from silk.

Black blazer: a great wool one is timeless, it can be smart, outwear or casual and long the lastest.

Jeans: you need at least two: light and a dark– cut it does not matter, find the one which best suits you. Skinny jeans are not in the fashion anymore, however I do suggest to keep one to be able to wear them with boots… remember how hard it was to tack in bootcuts and wide-legs in the past.

Black smart trousers: there are days when we do not want to wear jeans or just simply need to wear something more elegant.

Cotton leggings: opposite of the smart trousers, but once you arrive home or going for a walk with your dog etc. you need some comfy trousers, which is not a loungewear.

Black skirt: even if you hate or never wear skirts, try a black one – it is femine, elegant and smart.

Black dress: a stample truly- try to find the one which is good for any occassions or to the office– of course you can expand the collection with different versions for other weather conditions too.

October haul

Hi lovelies,

So after a month without spending, I have promised a bigger haul like and there is it. Coupon days were between the 9th to 13th October like every half year, so here what I have purchased:

Drugstore is not that interesting, so I am just going to attach the photo here and write so thoughts below.

In a kind of way I have failed to do my zero waste journey. I still bought shower gels, which I wanted to skip and also regarding the cruelty free journey I have purchased some maybe file, like the Nature Box which is owned by Henkel so I was not enough careful. In terms of my period I just can not have the reusable pads or diva cups in use, maybe later I am going to change my mind. My tooth care is the same: I don’t know how the natural toothpastes can guarantee my tooth health and also if there is a Curaprox dupe in a super soft bamboo brush or not.  All the others are CF stuffs exept the blench.

clothes:

I have a wishlist which I am strictly keeping: so this month my leather biker jacket is the piece to invest in. I have ordered it only from Mango- I know it is fast fashion, but the material is great and decent and it is still a lot for me. Also I was so happy to see that they shipped it on bike from their Budapest warehouse and packed in paper instead of plastics.

 

Other basic is a leggings from H&M which I have purchased upon returning a lot of clothes which I can not use, neither sell nor giveaway or recycle. Please note that it is my one and only leggings now. I also wanted to by some socks but finally I just choose this one with the cute sausage dogs on it.

And the followings: the basic turtle neck black, the hair buckle (was the half as at Zara), the cashmere hair strap and the loose fitting dress- it is so cute, but a way too big so rather will wear it later- hope soon.

From Cultbeauty I have ordered two Charlotte Tilbury products: her new foundation and a limited edition Hot lips 2 lipstick.

From the Airbrush Flawless Foundation I have choosen shade 3 cool, which is my perfect skin shade. After 2 use, I would say it is a really great middle coverage foundation, for events and go outs just perfect for me. ( I know a lot of you would use it on daily basis, but I rather stay sheer normally) Hot lips 2 I have ordered Carina’s star which is a peachy pink in this beautiful refillable packaging.

Calzedonia:

I wanted to purchase two stockings from them, but ended up 3 of them due to the shop assistant fail, no worries I am in them nearly all the time. So they are the shaping type ones because much more better qualit and  long lasting, which I am diffenetely go for.

Others: 2 books and a pair of Levi’s Jeans to my Hubby.

The flat

In October we are having a bit bigger investment: our Glass wall in the flat, which will be ready hopefully next month and finally creating our real living room and a separate bedroom. Despite of that I have purchased a letter board, which my husband has already hate, but we do not have anything of our walls, and that one I just want to instal some photo shelf or ledge, which I might need to do DIY for the perfect fit.
